Seven years ago we embarked on a quest to champion the dynamic business of global destination weddings and launched the Destination Wedding Planners Congress (DWP) in Athens, Greece. That mission has not only continued but reaches a higher benchmark each year. Through the years the DWP Congress brings luxury wedding professionals together from across all continents under one roof with the objective of showcasing some of the finest destinations, venues, creative partners, and unique services offered, to connect, collaborate and most importantly do business.
The Flagship Edition of DWP took place in Greece from April 24th to 25th, 2014 and holds a very special place in our hearts. The feelings, the emotions, the energy, and the excitement; like a new found love with the backdrop of the iridescent Aegean Sea. And here we are, 7 years later, with the 7th edition of DWP Congress that is taking place back again in Greece from 24-26th March 2021 at Mitsis Alila Resort & Spa, Rhodes Island, it’s a full circle.
