We had a chat with Yamini Shah, the Co-Founder and Creative Director of The Wedding Designers who gave us an insight on the stunning ceremonies curated by the company in Oman, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Dubai and across the globe along with their passion towards creating the perfect experience for all their clients.
How does it feel to win this prestigious award?
We are so grateful and humbled to have been chosen on such a prestigious platform as the winner for the DWP ACE Planner Globetrotter Award (Indian Subcontinent).
How was your experience at the luxurious Destination Wedding Planners Congress 2019 that took place in Dubai?
What an amazing experience it was to attend the luxurious Destination Wedding Planners Congress 2019! Every detail was marvelously planned out right from the décor and entertainment to the food and beverages. The hospitality of team QnA International was impeccable as well.
What motivates you to be so active within this dynamic wedding world?
We are continuously motivated by the love and blessings we get from our clients and their families. The biggest motivation however, is that look on the bride’s face when she sees the altar or what we have done for her at one of her events. It always brings us joy that we can’t express in words.
Tell us about your overall journey and how you have achieved this milestone.
We have been planning and designing weddings for over a decade now. Initially we planned, designed and executed weddings within our country but now we trot all over the globe. It has been a long and adventurous journey with lots of emotions and so many more friends that we have made along the way.
According to you, what are some of the best weddings you have planned till date and how have they shaped your incredible career pathway?
It is very difficult to choose a wedding or a few from the one’s we have planned. Each one is very close to our heart. We have learnt and continue to learn something new from every wedding we plan.
Please provide a word of inspiration for the new, upcoming set of individuals who strive to follow in your footsteps and make it big in the wedding industry.
Work hard, be true to yourself and you will succeed. Wedding planning looks very glamorous from the outside, but it involves a lot of detailing and meticulous planning. Our mantra has always been to think from our heart when planning a wedding as we are being entrusted with the biggest and most emotional event of a couple’s life.
