How does it feel to win this prestigious award?
To be awarded with such a distinguished award at an event that celebrates excellence in the luxury wedding and wedding tourism industry, feels incredible. From the response that we have received even during the voting period and right after winning the award, I truly believe that the happiness was also passed on to our followers in Greece and Cyprus.

How was your experience at the luxurious Destination Wedding Planners Congress 2019 that took place in Dubai?
The DWP Congress 2019 in Dubai surpassed every expectation I had. It was well organized from start to end, it offered many opportunities to connect with other wedding professionals and most importantly it had a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere which is significant for first time attendees. Definitely an event I would like to attend again!

What motivates you to be so active within this dynamic wedding world?
Motivation comes from wanting to make changes for improvement. I am extremely passionate about showcasing the amazing work of wedding professionals in Greece and Cyprus along with showing the world that both these beautiful countries are indeed, excellent wedding destinations.

Tell us about your overall journey and how you have achieved this milestone.
When we first started Love4Weddings in 2013, we put a lot of effort into marketing our brand digitally and having a strong online presence (both as a website and on social media). We knew from the very beginning, that in order for this to succeed, aside from the endless pretty inspiration we featured we had to be ahead of the game when it came to online presence. Consequently, we are always discovering new ways to make sure our reach goes further with regards to technology, SEO and social media trends. So as the years passed by, our team grew, we created our second site Chic and Stylish Weddings, then our third wedding blog EverAfter and soon after that our fourth site, the luxury wedding blog Epic Luxury Weddings. Sometime in between all that we started publishing the printed wedding magazine Love4Weddings. Nothing of all that happened out of luck and nothing happened without a whole lot of hard work and sacrifices. However, something that was and still is very important to us, is that there is always room for improvement.

A huge digital impact will only come if you consistently put in the work and remember that true engagement is more important than your follower count.

Keeping in mind your social media presence, how do you curate all your awesome content and what is the thought process behind all your wonderful insights of the wedding?
We make sure that when we are selecting the weddings we feature, aside from all the gorgeous details, stunning locations and fashionable elements, we make a point that emphasis is given to the story behind the wedding. The story is the key point that other couples can relate to and allow themselves to dream about their own wedding.
