All The Pictures From The US President Granddaughter’s White House Wedding, Planned by DWP Powerlister Bryan Rafanelli

The season of weddings is upon us. In another series of celebrity weddings, Naomi Biden, granddaughter of the current US President Joe Biden married her beau Peter Neal at the White House’s South Lawn on Saturday, November 19. The event was witnessed by about 250 guests. The wedding was planned by DWP Powerlister Bryan Rafanelli and was beautifully captured by Corbin Gurkin.

The president’s granddaughter looked timeless as she walked down the aisle in her Ralph Lauren gown. She opted for a lace bodice with a notched high neckline, finished with a spectacular tulle skirt. She kept her hair back in a bun and accessorized it with a long veil that was dramatically stunning. The groom, in a three-piece navy suit — also Ralph Lauren — wore a floral brooch as a boutonniere.

It was a family affair as the bride’s parents, Hunter Biden and Kathleen Buhle walked her down the aisle. As Naomi Biden walked down the aisle, the band played “Bitter Sweet Symphony” by The Verve. Naomi’s sister Finnegan James Biden as her maid of honor and her sister Roberta Mabel Biden and Katherine Elizabeth Neal as bridesmaids.

Events began with a rehearsal dinner on Friday night. The wedding itself consists of three parts- the ceremony followed by an intimate lunch and later. Later in the evening, more guests were invited for a black-tie reception for dancing and dessert.

This was the first wedding in nearly a decade hosted inside the White House. It’s also historic — the couple’s ceremony marks the first-ever White House wedding for a grandchild of a sitting president. The decor was subtle in a way that it complimented the grounds of the White House. Filled with white flowers and foliage, it evoked a sense of a classic era as Rafanelli created a fairytale for the couple.

The president opted for a dark blue suit and the First Lady dazzled in a teal dress by Reem Acra with a darker shade of teal A-line coat with matching gloves and silver pumps.

“It has been a joy to watch Naomi grow, discover who she is, and carve out such an incredible life for herself,” the president and first lady said in a statement released by the White House on Saturday. “Now, we are filled with pride to see her choose Peter as her husband and we’re honored to welcome him to our family. We wish them days full of laughter and a love that grows deeper with every passing year.”

We wish the couple the very best in their future endeavors.
