The pair, who met through a mutual friend, invited over 300 guests and had a 4-day event that lasted from 22nd March ’19 until the 25th at a family-owned estate – Palmyra Bed & Breakfast. The wedding soirée was an extravagant affair devised by groom turned wedding planner Luke Kolbas-Williams, Founder of LUK Design & Events, Australia.

Damien’s crown was made by John Khoury Design – laid out like a ruler and designed with every claw for every single crystal with head designer & Damien side by side in his studio. Featuring over 250 high-quality Swarovski crystals of varying sizes it dazzles in the sunlight & matches perfectly to his couture jacket.
Luxury At Its Finest
250k Swarovski crystals in a bespoke ceremony wall served as a perfect backdrop when they committed their “I dos” to each other.
From the moment guests arrived, they were dazzled with an out-of-this-world invitation, details packed, designed so luxe & OTT that they were wanting to know what’s waiting next. The first day was a winery day followed by a meet & greet dinner.
The second day was all about bling, dazzle & so grandeur. The 1st reception was relaxed, boho chic and contrasted well to the marquee. An opulent white and gold affair created from the dirt it stood on with pops of gold & black colors mixed with varying textures formed the marquee that literally was perfection galore.
Day 3 was recovery brunch & relaxed massive barbeque around the pool at the manor, followed by day 4 which was filled with laughs, competition & pure fun.
The 3 flower girls were dressed in Coco Blush, a boutique from Melbourne that makes ruffled custom pieces. The dresses matched the bridesmaids and country feel of the wedding and John Khoury Design created stunning matching headpieces for them.
The entrance to both the first reception & marquee formal reception with over a dozen Lebanese drummers lifted the energy, took WOW to another level & the guests loved the drama created by the amazing sound they created echoing in the valley at this destination wedding at Palmyra.
How Did LUK Design & Events Come Into Inception?
“I started styling by documenting 10 pages of what we wanted and 30 images of what we don’t want thinking soon I would have a wedding planner to do all this. As a result, I have opened a design and event business @lukewilliamsdesignandevents which styled, planned, coordinated & produced our wedding event. We are absolutely swooning over the layers upon layers of florals done by Vesna Grasso Floral & Event Design, a leading Australian luxe-styled florist that complemented the suspended Swarovski crystal chandeliers done by Chandelier To Die For with a custom decor by Harbourside Decorators that added so much romance and intrigue to the marquee wedding. The cascades are everywhere to ensure the layers of opulence are accentuated on every level with the stunning florals. This wedding connotes luxury in a very detailed manner and is sure to give some #weddingdecorgoals for 2021-22 weddings.
