They don’t just host parties, they do it with an ambiance and, again, that delicious food, that gives their parties a professional event-level quality. They don’t just browse real estate listings. They do it with an insanely creative and discerning eye that would make the finest designers blush. And they don’t just go to the park. They get engaged in the park. Emily and Alec are a perfect couple who reminds us to do the little things in life with a taste and tact most of us can only dream of having.
They say when it’s meant to be, the universe shows you signs. And this was the case with Emily and Alec. Ironically, on the day they met in Brooklyn, they shared a bottle of white wine from Loire Valley. Who knew that one fine day, they would say “I do” in one of the most gorgeous locations in the Loire Valley.
The couple tied the knot on the 26th of June, 2019 at Château du Grand-Lucé. The symmetry and precision of the classical French gardens, coupled with the eighteenth-century neoclassical architecture of the forty-five thousand square foot château became their mise-en-scène.
The decor was oozing with elegance and English charm that seamlessly complemented the grandeur of the venue. The pastel shades of locally sourced flowers and neutral décor added the essence of romance to this beautiful location. It was a classic fairytale wedding in the gardens of this castle venue.
