Translating the feelings of eternal wanderlust and the magical allure of the moon, Ashi Studio’s Fall 2018 couture collection is, quite literally, out of this world. Known for his army of A-list loyalists sporting his grand designs at the Academy Awards and Cannes Film festival, the Saudi couturier Mohamad Ashi’s creations are instantly familiar for their avant garde silhouettes and deconstructed splendor. For the winter bride, the Beirut based couture house presented a blend of intricate embroidery, delicate lace and taffeta defined by impressive volumes, asymmetric edges and artfully romantic aesthetics.
