The wedding ceremony of Alex & Ivan took place at the iconic Lovrijenac Fort in Dubrovnik and the pictures are a visual treat! Lovrijenac Fortress, positioned dramatically on the cliffs overlooking the Adriatic Sea, is a historic gem of Dubrovnik. Built in the late 16th century, this standalone fortress stands outside the city walls of Old Town, guarding the western approach to the city. Its triangular structure and three levels offer panoramic views of the sea and Dubrovnik’s historic skyline.

ALEX & IVAN’S TALE OF ROMANCE
Alex & Ivan’s story is a cute love story right off the pages of a romance novel. They met in the fall of 2019 when Alex was enrolled in law school, which was the same law school that one of Ivan’s friends also attended. They met through a mutual friend on a night out and the rest is history!
DESIGN, DÉCOR & THE SERENE CEREMONY
Lovrijenac Fort was the venue of choice for the couple to begin their forever. Back in the summer of 2022, the couple visited the venue to attend the wedding of a friend and could not help but fall in love with it. Alex says “It almost felt like it was fate telling us (and showing us) that this was the place for our dream wedding one day!”. When Ivan proposed a year later, the couple had no second thoughts on where they would want to get married!
Dubrovnik Event was the orchestrator of the wedding and you can see the stunning job they have done! Right from the décor to floral arrangements to the furniture and linen, everything seemed picture perfect and beautifully complemented the architecture and heritage of the fort!
