Marie is a big beach gal and Vic is a surfer, so including beach elements in their wedding without going overboard was the key. They both grew up in Laguna Beach and the beach was truly both of their playgrounds as kids and now adults. They went to the same elementary school, through high school together, and over time, their love for each other grew stronger and stronger when they decided to vow their forever on 10th April 2021 at Laguna Beach, California.
The ones who are meant to be in your life are not who give you butterflies in your tummy, but rather, calmness to your mind. On the wedding day, Vic & Marie were so calm and it’s because they both were so sure about marrying one another.
As the experts predicted that micro weddings will give more room to planners to try personalization and opulence, Pure Lavish Events took advantage of the reduced guest count to play around a bit more with the design and transformed the couple’s dream into reality.
Originally they were planning for a large wedding on the beach and a reception on the lawn near the parents’ home. However, due to COVID and updated state regulations, they decided to get married at the Groom’s parents’ home in Laguna with just their closest family and friends. What started out as a tough decision, turned into an intimate micro beach wedding where the couple and the guests had a memorable time and some breathtaking views to take back home.
“We had a blast picking out rentals with Adore Folklore and Florals by Jenny came in with stunning florals to accompany each piece. The whole look really complimented well with the home as well and truly felt like paradise. The bride & groom were cozied up all night and were able to relax in their own home which made it all the more special for the couple. It was a night to remember.” Shares Alexa, Principal Planner from Pure Lavish Events.
