“You walked in my life like you’ve always lived there like my heart was a home built just for you.” – A.R. Asher
The pandemic clearly has not stopped 2020 power couples from exchanging their I do’s, and Camille and Maxim are no exception.
The couple got married on September 5, 2020, in a magical wooden castle setting in Château des Bois. Surrounded by a magnificent forest, parks, fields, meadows and vineyards, the Château des Bois offers remarkable biodiversity and an exceptional natural setting for couples to tie the knot. The couple wanted the theme of the wedding to be sweet and romantic. To make this vision turn into reality, Gianna from The W. Day Weddings & Events, a Switzerland-based luxury Events Planner used an elegant floral combination. White hydrangeas, dahlias, white roses with a touch of pale pink and dressed the aisle along the length of the chairs to make their entry magical.
Recent weddings are all about creating an exceptional guest experience from the moment they enter to their exit. At this wedding, there were lots of creative floral decor inspo. As soon as the guests arrived, they were treated with a glass of champagne, a welcome note filled with roses and some hats & fans before they headed up for the ceremony. The background was set up next to the oldest cedar in the Geneva region. At the end of the cocktail, as soon as the guests entered inside, there were flower signs to direct them.
“We have flowered the length of the stairs with hundreds of flowers for the guests to immerse themselves in this romantic and sweet atmosphere. There was a delicate atmosphere everywhere, where eyes went from the corner of the fireplace to the smallest space. To offer a hint of tenderness, we have suspended the Wedding Cake on a wonderfully flowery structure,” shares Gianna.
To add something special, the lounge area was enhanced by a central decoration made up of 5 flower boxes. Hydrangeas, roses, American carnations, wildflowers like Queen Anne’s lace in deeper pink tones. Floral arrangements and transparent candle holders decorated the table beautifully. The pastel tones were looking intricate and elegant, adding to the couple’s charm.
The soft palette of green and pastels was representative of hope, joy and loyalty – with florals creating an ethereal and uplifting space. The bridal bouquet was composed of light “flowing” greenery, lisianthus, veronica, phlox, astrantia and garden roses in shades of white and light pink, white ribbon. We adore this cute photo booth that had a rustic twist to it.
This wedding was laid-back, yet luxurious. The bride and groom had an incredible evening celebrating their ‘happily-ever-after’ with their friends and family. Live performances further enchanted the spirit of the celebration that was engulfed with intimate decor. A lounge setup amidst the canopy of lights was perfect for a warm, cozy vibe amidst huge floral structures at the center table.
