There is something uniquely alluring and romantic about Lake Como weddings and when Lebanese and Armenian cultures blended with romantic Italian style in Andrea and Chant’s Lake Como wedding, the result was nothing short of spectacular!
The wedding took place on the shores of glamorous Como Lake in June 2019 at a gathering of around 100 Lebanese and Armenian invitees between friends and family traveling from Lebanon, the Middle East, and Europe.
Sophistication and elegance were oozing out of every decor element as they used the Sorrento pastel ceramics watercolors and incorporated them into almost every element of the decoration. From the menu design to the color selection of the glass bottles, candle colors, cocktail napkins, touch of olive branches, selection and colors of flowers, the scent of lemons.
Their happily ever after was created in the scenic Villa Geno in the heart of Como! The launch of festivities was the prewedding Italian Festa in a jewel little town Cernobbio, on the shores of the lake, accompanied by a mix of Armenian-Lebanese music.
The bride looked incredibly glamorous in a gorgeous Dolce Gabbana dress accompanied by a custom royal headpiece with the touch of burgundy flowers to match the dress. The light was soft and dreamy as the newlyweds hopped on a boat for a romantic ride. It was a mix of Lebanese & Armenian heritage in an elegant and luxurious way.
And here comes the big day! Exclusive as the bride is with her colorful blue eyes, she wanted a soft rappel of this color in her bouquet. A picturesque ceremony was celebrated by the majestic water fountain of Lake Como. The tunes of the Armenian soprano, the Arabic hymns and the Italian classical music made this an unforgettable memory for guests to take back home.
Following the ceremony, the guests moved to the colorful gardens of the Villa on the beats of a traditional Armenian Italian band enjoying a glass of the exquisite Bellini and savoring the Italian delicacies of the Lombardia cuisine.
The bride is a great lover of white, crystal and sparkles; and thus, the Delphinium flowers were used. It was the signature of this wedding as they are grand, elegant, chic and different. It was truly everything the bride was dreaming of. We loved the classic minimal white vibe that was created inside the tent and as the dusk unfolded, the fairy lights created a magical ambiance for the guests to have an unforgettable eve to relish.
The party started with a tasteful show by the Swanband who flew in from France to perform at the wedding reception. Dancing continued till dawn and finished with the best Arabic dancing beats.
“An event lasts a day, memories last forever.” Beautifully describes Micheline Diab, Founder of Italy-based Wedding Planning firm – Giritaly; who planned and designed this wedding. Wowed by their impeccable planning, the couple complemented Giritaly with a beautiful testimonial- “From day one Micheline and her super team showed us nothing but confidence, support, and professionalism!”
