A Breathtaking Brazil Wedding!

The groom Kevin, who hails from America met the love of his life, Brazilian beauty Renata in Rio through a mutual friend when he visited when Brazil for one of his business trips. With the grand wedding proposal taking place during a spiritual retreat in the magical land of India, their nuptial ceremony had to be one for the books!

An archipelago of 21 islands, Fernando de Noronha boasts of several pristine beaches, iridescent waters, rocky landscapes and is home to a wide variety of marine life. The picturesque eco-wonderland which is named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site was the perfect backdrop for Renata and Kevin’s incredible paradisiacal wedding. The rustic chic ceremony was planned to perfection by Aonde Casar, a wonderful wedding planning company spearheaded by wedding planner extraordinaire, Simone Tostes.

The gorgeous couple said ‘I do’ amongst the presence of their loved ones at the Bar do Meio, a trending hotspot for visitors that offers breathtaking views of the blissful islandic haven. The contemporary chic restaurant and bar is located between two stunning beaches in the island, the Praia do Meio (Meio Beach) and the Praia da Conceição (Conceição Beach).

Simone tells us that the choice of location was crucial to the couple. As the bride and groom come from different countries that have distinct cultures, they decided to choose an awe-inspiring destination that could provide them with several days of leisure along with time for them to relax and rejuvenate amongst the scenic, preserved nature.

Adding to the panoramic views of the lush flora and fauna, the volcanic archipelago was festooned with foliage in hues of white and green. Bamboo furnishings gave it a rustic style, while the floral arrangements further enhanced the surroundings of Fernando de Noronha island. The exceptional dessert table contained several sweet confections along with a decadent multi-tiered wedding cake that the guests joyfully devoured.
