Jordan unfolds like a story written in stone and sand, where ancient landscapes hold centuries of history, mystery, and wonder. From the rose-red carvings of Petra to the vast, untamed beauty of Wadi Rum, every corner feels suspended between time and imagination.
As the light softens across these timeless terrains, the landscape transforms into something almost otherworldly, where every shadow tells a story and every moment lingers just a little longer.
Murad and Nataly Osmann, the globally celebrated travel creators behind the iconic #FollowMeTo series, have spent years capturing the magic of the world through moments that feel almost cinematic. For their wedding anniversary, the couple returned to the spirit of adventure that first defined their journey—choosing the legendary rose-red city of Petra in Jordan as the setting for their celebration.
Surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs and centuries of history, the moment felt straight out of a dream. But behind the romance was an extraordinary production. Brought to life by WeDoAgency in collaboration with the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism, the anniversary became more than a personal celebration; it evolved into a remarkable showcase of destination event production, navigating heritage regulations, intricate logistics, and real-time challenges to create an unforgettable experience in one of the world’s most iconic locations.
The Vision
This dreamy anniversary was all set to take place in Al-Khazneh—the legendary Treasury of Petra and one of the world’s most awe-inspiring archaeological wonders. With rare official permission secured, the team curated an intimate private dinner at the foot of the monument, a space never before used for such an occasion.
With this extraordinary privilege came an equally profound responsibility. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to feel organic and deeply respectful of its surroundings, allowing the experience to blend seamlessly into the site’s rich historical narrative, rather than compete with its grandeur.

A Beautiful Plan, A Sudden Pivot
Working in close collaboration with the décor team, WeDoAgency crafted a visual concept rooted in restraint rather than spectacle. Lightweight transparent furniture, clean forms, and the soft glow of hundreds of candles created an open, fluid setting where light, air, and space took the lead, allowing Petra to remain the true focal point.
But as the vision began to unfold, nature intervened. A sudden storm brought heavy rain, strong winds, and hail, forcing an immediate halt and evacuation, making it impossible to host the dinner at Al-Khazneh.
Rapid Reinvention: The Backup Plan
What followed was a swift and seamless pivot. In partnership with the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism, WeDoAgency secured an alternative venue, an authentic local restaurant near Petra’s exit, and rapidly reworked logistics, décor, and production, ensuring the experience remained just as refined and memorable.
The décor was redistributed, suppliers were re-coordinated, and the entire production was reorganized within a tight window, all while staying true to the original vision.
Every key visual element designed for Al-Khazneh was carefully transferred and adapted to the new space. Instead of feeling like a compromise, the setting brought a different kind of charm, more intimate, more grounded, yet equally impactful.
Despite the change, the experience remained exactly as intended. The evening retained its sense of exclusivity, thoughtful detailing, and emotional depth, proving that strong concepts can hold their own, no matter the circumstances.

Wadi Rum Magic
After an enchanting evening in Petra, the story swept onward into the untamed beauty of Wadi Rum. What began as a response to the previous day’s challenges transformed into a moment of pure creative triumph. Beneath endless desert skies and framed by majestic sandstone forms, the team wove the raw landscape with local elements to craft an open-air setting that felt both intimate and grand. The result was nothing short of magical, an evocative celebration of scale, soul, and a journey that lingered long after the night had faded.

For WeDoAgency, this production reinforced a fundamental principle of destination events: successful outcomes are built not only on visuals, but on systems, trust, and the ability to make decisive choices under pressure. In Jordan, those elements became the true foundation of the project — uniting teams, partners, and guests around a shared commitment to bring a complex vision to life, regardless of circumstances.
