Thayane And Leandro’s Dream Wedding in Lake Como

Childhood sweethearts, Thayane and Leandro have known each other all their lives and decided to be ever so inseparable, in their dream wedding in Lake Como. They went out on their first date five years ago at a Halloween party and chose that very day to celebrate their love. “It Just took one look to be together again,” they said. “We have always known we had something special, an asleep feeling waiting for the right time to manifest,” they added. But it was not the right time yet and they distanced from each other for a few more years, however in October 2002, their paths crossed again, and this time, they were sure that the timing was perfect.

And after many years together, at the gorgeous Hotel Wynn the couple got engaged and bought the ring at Tiffany’s Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills together. The bride found wedding planner extraordinaire and DWP Advisory board member Simone Tostes a few years before the wedding. Thayane says about Simone, “Having Simone beside me was essential, she became a dear friend. I participated actively in every choice, from flowers, colour palette, buffet, drinks, music, bouquet etc.”

Simone tells us that the choice of location was crucial to the couple. The Villa del Balbianello, on stunning Lake Como in Italy is a remarkable location. A grand museum with an outstanding view was a dream destination for the movie buff groom, who is a big fan of 007 – Casino Royale and Star Wars: Clone Wars episode ll, both of which were shot at the location! The bride believed that she was destined to marry at the venue because October 25th was the only date available for the celebration, which turned out to be the couple’s 15^th anniversary. A match truly made in heaven!
